Objectives
The
objective of this seminar is to promote the understanding of administrators on
tsunami disaster management (especially tsunami disaster management map). Leading
Japanese researchers in this field will present the need for the tsunami disaster
management map, methods for preparing the tsunami disaster management map, and
applications of the tsunami disaster management map. Inundation prediction methods,
a key component of the tsunami disaster management map, will also be introduced
in an easy-to-understand way.
